Who we work with

Veterans and service members

Veterans and serving members who contact us usually ask about records before they ask about anything else. The short answer is that we keep a minimal client record for our own scheduling and safety purposes, and we do not share it with any service, agency, or command.

This page covers records, scheduling, and funded seats. It makes no claim about what sessions do for anyone.

What record do you keep, and who can see it?

We keep contact details, appointment dates, and the practical notes needed to run a visit safely. That record exists so we can schedule you and so a different practitioner can pick up where the last one left off.

It is not sent anywhere. We do not report to a service, an agency, a command, or an insurer, and we do not respond to informal requests about whether a named person is a client.

  • Contact details and appointment history.
  • Practical notes about placement and comfort.
  • The self report scales you fill in, which belong to you.
  • Nothing that characterizes you as a person.

Does using a funded seat change what is shared?

It changes the billing route and nothing else. A funded seat is identified to us by an anonymized identifier issued by the organization, so our booking record for that seat carries the identifier rather than a name attached to the funder.

The organization receives counts of seats used. It does not receive names, dates tied to a person, notes, or anything you said in the room.

What does scheduling look like around a posting or a deployment?

We book in short runs and we do not require a standing slot. If you disappear for four months, your package is still there when you get back, because packages do not expire.

If you are moving out of the area entirely, say so and we will be straight with you about whether starting now makes sense.

What should you ask us before booking?

Ask about suitability first. There are situations where we decline and situations where we ask you to speak with your own clinician before booking, and it is better to hear that on a free call than after you have paid.

Ask about the evidence too. Our research section says plainly what is and is not established, including what nobody knows yet.

Momentous Neurofeedback is a wellness practice. We use an FDA-cleared biofeedback device indicated for relaxation training and muscle reeducation.

We do not provide medical care and we do not assess or identify health conditions. We make no promise about any outcome, and nothing on this site should be read as one.

Sessions are not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. If you have a health concern, speak with your own provider. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
