Choosing a provider, a working checklist

A provider checklist is a fixed set of checks you apply to every provider on your shortlist so that a persuasive conversation does not outweigh a thin answer. This one covers website language, how the practice operates, money, and fit for your own situation.

It runs in your browser and nothing is stored or sent anywhere. Refreshing the page clears it.

How do you use this checklist?

Work through it once per provider. Tick only what you have actually confirmed rather than what you assume, and leave anything unverified unticked.

A provider who clears every box in the money group and none in the language group is telling you where their attention goes.

What does a low score actually mean?

It means you do not have enough information yet, which is different from a provider being unsuitable. Most gaps close with one direct question.

If a gap survives a direct question, that is when it becomes a reason to walk.

Is anything saved when you close this page?

No. There is no account, no cookie, and no storage behind this. The ticks live in the page while it is open and disappear when you leave.

If you want a record, write the answers down yourself or bring your notes to a consultation.
