Sessions

How often sessions are spaced

Session frequency is how far apart your visits sit on the calendar. It is a scheduling decision made between you and a practitioner, revisited as you go, and it is not fixed by a formula.

We do not promise a number of sessions. Nobody can tell you in advance how many visits you will want.

How are visits usually spaced?

Most people start with more space rather than less, so they can see how they respond before adding another visit. Weekly and fortnightly are both common patterns.

Some people prefer a short cluster of visits and then a long pause. That is a legitimate way to do it.

  • A gap of several days after a first visit, so you learn how you respond.
  • Weekly or fortnightly if you want a regular rhythm.
  • A short cluster then a pause, if your schedule is irregular.
  • Nothing further, if you tried it and it was not for you.

Why will you not tell me how many sessions I need?

Because we would be making it up. There is no established number, and a provider who quotes one is presenting a sales figure as a clinical one.

We would rather lose a booking than open with a number we cannot support.

What if your schedule is irregular?

Irregular is workable. Packages do not expire, so a month with no visits costs you nothing.

Tell us how your weeks actually run and we will book around them rather than asking you to bend a shift pattern to a template.

When would you suggest stopping or pausing?

When you tell us you noticed something you did not like, when your own scales are flat and you are unconvinced, or when you simply want to stop. Any of those is enough.

Pausing is not a failure and it does not forfeit anything you already paid for.

Do you have to keep a fixed weekly slot?

No. A recurring slot exists if you want the reminder built in, but you can also book one visit at a time with no pattern at all.

Does a longer gap undo anything?

We do not claim it does, because that would imply a cumulative effect we cannot demonstrate. A gap is a gap. Pick it up when it suits you.
