Accessibility statement
We build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, and we treat that as a requirement of every page rather than a later cleanup task. This statement was last reviewed on 2026-01-01.
Where we fall short, we would rather name the gap than let you find it. The known gaps are listed further down this page.
What does the WCAG 2.1 AA target mean in practice?
It means specific, checkable things rather than a general intention. Each item below is verified on every page before it ships.
- Text and background pairs meet the AA contrast ratio, and light cyan is used as an accent rather than as text on a light surface.
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, and the focused element always shows a visible ring.
- Headings run in order with one first level heading per page, so a screen reader can outline the page.
- Every form control has a real label, and an error is announced rather than shown only in color.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative shapes are hidden from assistive technology.
- Layouts work from a 375 pixel wide screen upward with no sideways scrolling.
- Animation is short and is switched off entirely when your system asks for reduced motion.
Which gaps do you know about?
Three, stated plainly. None of them blocks access to information, and each has a path to a person instead.
- The site search needs JavaScript. Every page it can find is also reachable through the navigation and the full page list.
- Studio photographs are placeholders while the space is finished, so their alternative text describes the placeholder rather than a room.
- The comparison tables are wide. On a narrow screen they scroll sideways inside their own frame, which is announced, but a very long row still takes patience to read.
Has an independent audit been done?
Not yet. Our checks are internal and automated, run on every build. An independent review is planned, and this page will say so once it has happened rather than implying it already has.
What about accessibility in the studio itself?
Each location page states step free access, parking, transit, and what the room is like, so you can judge before you travel rather than after. If something you need is not described, ask and we will answer specifically.
How do you report a barrier?
Tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. Email hello@example.com or call (000) 000-0000.
We reply within one business day, and we say either when it will be fixed or that it will not be, with the reason. We will not leave a report unanswered.
