About Momentous Neurofeedback

Momentous Neurofeedback is a wellness practice that offers microcurrent neurofeedback sessions using an FDA-cleared biofeedback device indicated for relaxation training and muscle reeducation. We are not a medical service and we do not make outcome claims.

That sentence is the whole business in one line. The rest of this section explains how we run, who runs it, where we run it, and the rules we hold ourselves to in public.

What does Momentous Neurofeedback actually do?

We run sessions. A person sits in a chair, sensors are placed on the scalp and ears, and a device runs a short session while they rest. Nothing is required of the person during it.

Around the session we do the ordinary work of a small practice. We explain the equipment, answer questions, book time, and keep records tight. We also run programs for organizations that fund sessions for a group.

  • Individual sessions booked directly.
  • Programs funded by an organization for a defined group.
  • Plain explanation of what the device is and what it is not.

Why does this site avoid outcome language?

Because the device is cleared for relaxation training and muscle reeducation, and that is the honest description of it. Anything beyond that would be a claim we cannot stand behind.

We would rather lose a booking than overstate what a session is. The standards page sets out the rules we wrote for ourselves, including no success percentages and no session-count promises.

Who is behind the practice?

A small team of session practitioners and one operations person. Roles are operational rather than clinical, and nobody here holds themselves out as a clinician.

If you want to know who you will meet before you arrive, the team page lists each role and what that person actually does.

Where can I read the rest?

Each part of the practice has its own page rather than one long about statement. Pick whichever answers the question you arrived with.

Is this a medical practice?

No. It is a wellness practice. We do not provide medical care, we do not assess or identify health conditions, and sessions are not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician.

Can I visit before booking anything?

Yes. Ask for a short look at the room and the equipment. Most people find the room quieter and duller than they expected, which is the point.
