Sessions
Measuring your own progress
Self tracking here means two short 0 to 10 prompts that you answer yourself, in your own words, before and after a session. They belong to you and they are self report only.
They are not a clinical measure, they do not measure brain activity, and no score from them means anything about your health.
What are the two scales?
Two questions, each answered from 0 to 10, with the ends of the range described in plain language so your own 7 means the same thing next month as it does today.
The wording below is not final. We are still refining it, and we would rather show you the current version than a polished one we have not settled on.
- Scale one. Right now, how settled does your body feel, from 0 to 10? 0 is as wound up as you get, and 10 is as settled as you get.
- Scale two. Right now, how clear does your thinking feel, from 0 to 10? 0 is as foggy as you get, and 10 is as clear as you get.
Why only two?
Because a long form does not get filled in. Two questions get answered honestly at the end of a tiring day, and consistency matters more than detail here.
Two also keeps the exercise modest, which fits what it is. It is a note to yourself, not an instrument.
What do the scales not tell you?
They do not tell you whether anything is working. They do not measure brain activity, they are not a health indicator, and a change in either direction does not establish a cause.
Anyone who shows you a before and after score as evidence in this category is overstating what a self report number can carry.
How should you use them?
Answer both just before a session and again the following day at a similar time of day. Write one short line about anything you noticed.
Look at the pattern over several weeks rather than at any single pair of numbers. A single pair mostly reflects the day you had.
Who sees your answers?
You do. Nothing is stored on this website, there is no account, and nothing you write here leaves your own notebook or notes app.
If you bring them to a visit, we look at them with you and then hand them back. If an employer arranged a group program, they never see anything individual.
What if the numbers do not move?
Then the numbers do not move, and that is useful information for deciding whether to keep booking. We will not reinterpret a flat record as hidden progress.
Can you use your own wording instead?
Yes. The value is in asking the same question the same way each time. If your own phrasing fits your life better, use it.

Two questions, answered the same way each time. Bring them to a visit if you want a second pair of eyes.
