Session protocols and why we start gentle
A session protocol is the plan a practitioner follows for a series of visits, covering how many sensor sites are used, how long the signal runs, and how much changes from one appointment to the next.
Ours begins deliberately small. The first visit does less than a later one might, and that is a choice rather than a limitation.
Why do the first sessions do less?
Because nobody can tell in advance how a given person will respond to a session, and the cheapest way to learn is to start small and watch.
A short first session with few sites gives you a clean baseline. If you notice something, there is less to untangle. If you notice nothing, very little was risked.
What do progressive levels mean in practice?
It means the amount of work in a session can step up over a series, and only when there is a reason. More sites or a slightly longer signal are typical steps.
There is no ladder every person climbs. Some people stay at a gentle level for their whole series because that is what suits them.
- Step one is a short session at a small number of sites.
- Step changes follow what you report and what the practitioner reads, not a schedule.
- Stepping back down is a normal move, not a failure.
How far apart are sessions usually spaced?
Early visits tend to be closer together and later ones further apart, but the spacing is a conversation and not a rule we impose.
We do not sell a fixed number of visits. If a provider tells you the answer is a specific package before meeting you, that is a sales structure rather than a plan.
What would make a practitioner change or stop a protocol?
Feeling worse, sleeping badly, or simply disliking the sessions are all reasons to change course. So is your own sense that this is not for you.
Stopping is always available. Nothing about a series obligates you to finish it.
How do I know whether a protocol is doing anything?
Keep your own short record. Two lines the evening of a session and two the next morning is enough, and it beats trying to remember a month later.
We hold no interest in convincing you that something happened. If your own notes say nothing changed, that is the honest answer.
